Farewell 2010, Hello 2011

Welcome to 2011 folks, and thanks for making 2010 our best year yet! We’ve never been busier, and the music has never been better. Highlights include album projects from Christina Martin, David Myles, Dave Gunning, Gianna Lauren, Gloryhound, Al Tuck’s long overdue “Best Of”, Rawlins Cross, It Kills, Kim Wempe, The Olympic Symphonium, Owen Steel, Rich Aucoin, Ross Neilsen, The Stanfields, Steve Poltz, Thrush Hermit, and many, many more.

We witnessed a resurgence in mixes arriving on analog tape (long live our custom ATR-102, and thanks Mike Spitz!), and an ever growing number of masters destined for vinyl. On the technical side of things we rounded out the year by adding a couple new analog tools to the racks (Maselec MLA-3 and a Buzz Audio REQ-2.2), and further customizing some of our existing equipment.

As music fans we’re happy to see bandcamp.com (smartest download and merch platform to date) working it’s way into the public consciousness, and the addition of the FLAC lossless format to numerous label webstores.

All in all it’s been a great year for music, and we’re happy to be a part of it. Looking forward to 2011!
