Rates and Policies
Effective January 2018. All Prices in Canadian Dollars.
In general, projects are priced at a flat rate determined by the number of songs and the production master formats needed. This covers the vast majority of projects. If your project requires extensive editing, stems, or restoration please get in touch so we can provide an estimate specific to your requirements.
Per Song Rates
1 song: $125
2 songs: $225
3+ songs: $100 per song
Alternate versions of the same mix: $25 per version (ex. instrumental / radio edit)
Mastering for DSD release: Please contact us for details and pricing.
DDP Master: $100
- the preferred master format for CD manufacturing
Red Book CD Master: $100
- for short run duplication, or otherwise where DDP is not accepted
Vinyl Master Files: $200
- high resolution files formatted for vinyl lacquer cutting
Standard Digital Master Files: included in studio time
- ready for iTunes, CD Baby, Tunecore, Bandcamp, etc
Mastered for iTunes High Resolution Digital Master Files: We are certified by Apple as an MFiT approved studio. Please contact us for details and pricing.
Cassette Masters: $100
- files for Side A / Side B ready for cassette duplication
Payment and Terms
Accounts must be paid in full before Master or Reference materials are released.
Payment for attended sessions is due in full on the day of the session. Unattended sessions may require a deposit upon booking. We accept payment via Interac e-Transfer, Credit Card, Paypal and Cash.
Revised mixes submitted after the original mastering will be considered new tracks and billed accordingly. Small mix adjustments (ex. vocal up, bass down) that don't require changes to the master eq will be billed a nominal recall fee, normally 10-15 mins of studio time per track.
Residents of NS, NB, PE, and NL will be charged 15% HST; ON will be charged 13% HST; all other Canadian provinces and territories will be charged 5% GST. International clients will not be charged tax.
